Multiple exposures

I took these photos on Monday and forgot to put them up here. I worked out how to do multiple exposure or 'image overlay' on my camera and had a great time using it with photos of the little house slash shed in my backyard.

A wonderful fact

I finished my book last night while I was babysitting. I liked this quote so much that I drew it in my 'Three Media' moleskine. The guidelines for this sketchbook are that I use three media on each two-page spread. Because this picture only uses one medium at the moment it's not finished, and I wanted to put a photo of it as it is now in case I screw it up with the addition of two more media.

And here is a three media page that I finished yesterday:

This post is a combination of

- not being able to sleep, and
- finding a picture of a dead fly in my 'Remotely artistic' folder.
I am a bit more tired now. I think I might try and sleep now. Goodnight!

To the bank with a camera

I'm sure I will eventually put up something here that isn't a photo. I have heaps of ideas for things that I want to do and am waiting until I am less busy and more inspired. Until then, have some photos that I took on my walk to the bank:

I like going to the park.

That is all.

Monday

Early this afternoon I realised that my day was really going nowhere. For fear of nothing to say if someone asked me, 'So what did you do today?' at basketball later on, I packed my camera bag with my sketchbook, some pens, A Tale of Two Cities (gosh I love Dickens) and my camera, and went for a walk.

Of course I was completely overprepared and all I ended up using was my camera and my wallet to buy some lunch. It was good though, I enjoyed roaming the streets and taking photos. These are some of my favourites.
And I took my camera to basketball for Kate's last game:

Why does it have to be real when we can imagine?
